Our continued partnership with Square One Concepts is growing, with three new hospitality projects taking shape across the Valley and recently featured in the Phoenix Business Journal. ALINE is currently designing two upcoming locations for Bistecca & Bones, Square One Concepts’ new Italian steakhouse. The first is planned for CityNorth in north Phoenix, with an anticipated opening in early 2027.

We had an un-BOO-leavable time at this year’s annual Spooktacular Event with the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children (ACFC)! Over 200 guests joined in the fun, including 39 brave Cancer Warriors and their families, making it a day to remember. A huge thank you goes out to the incredible sponsors who made each room a magical experience and the 60 volunteers who dedicated their time to bring joy to every corner of the event.

Born and Raised Hospitality, the restaurant group renowned for Phoenix restaurants Clever Koi, Across the Pond, and Fellow Osteria, has announced the grand opening of a new fast-casual noodle restaurant, Clever Ramen. Clever Ramen opened its doors to diners this year to great success, according to a press release. The restaurant, which was designed by Aline Architecture Concepts, was opened with the idea of using raw materials that encapsulate warmth and life to the space.

The Professional Beauty Association at its 25th annual North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) honored Scottsdale's Zolton's Salon and Spa with the Salon Design of the Year award. NAHA is the industry's most prestigious professional beauty competition in North America with nearly 50,000 entries competing for the winning title in 14 categories. More than 1,000 salons entered in the salon design category where industry experts evaluated each salon's over all ambiance, style and architecture.

The Scottsdale Spirit Award is given each year to one project that helps reshape the community. We received the award for Fate Brewing Company's design and efforts to revitalizing the McDowell Corridor. When we started the design of Fate we found that the original tenant had windows and patio facing Scottsdale Road, but over the year's turned the entry and face of the building towards the parking lot.

The Polynesian Queen has been standing tall on McDowell Road for decades. It is so unique, everyone notices it, even when it was used as car rental location. The original tenant was Dairy Queen when the building was developed in 1964, and was part of an overall Polynesian style master plan.

Design for Dogs is a custom dog house design + build competition, silent auction, and most importantly, a fundraiser! Hosted by Facings of America since 2015, this dog-centric architectural event showcases one-of-a-kind dog house creations by local architects, interior designers, builders, and industry partners. ALINE and Lion Craft teamed up to create a parametric coffee table and dog lounge bed.
