‘ALINE made the process of designing our salon easier. Not being used to this process they helped me understand the steps needed and kept me informed.’ - Tanya Piazza, Owner SO32
SO32's process was about function, flow, and balance of raw and modern design elements. With a simple shell space we wanted to enhance the existing architecture by sand blasting the block wall, leaving the steel trusses raw, adding new spiral duct work. We used burlap scrim with insulation for acoustical value, grinding of the slab to expose the aggregate, new steelwork that complements the existing and provides product display areas. We then balanced the raw elements with new white marble counters and reception desk, clean contemporary cabinetry, white drywall and modern accessories.
