Goodyear Civic Square

Goodyear, AZ

+

Goodyear Civic Square, also known as GSQ, is a ground up modern multi-use development at the heart of the City of Goodyear, Arizona’s new downtown. This project will encompass five retail/restaurant buildings designed to activate the streetscape with patio’s abutting the sidewalks and sloping roofs which open up views to the Civic Park and City Hall beyond. The restaurant spaces are designed to anchor the buildings at each end along the entry throughfares, creating a lively, walkable urban environment just steps from the new Civic Square Park and city’s main library. Native desert landscaping, palms, and raised concrete and rusted steel planters seamlessly integrate the buildings to the site. Exposed steel beams, integral color masonry, standing seam metal roofing and warm wood accents bring texture and warmth to the buildings exteriors. Currently in design are over 39,000 square feet of interior retail & restaurant space with an additional 13,500 square feet of patio’s to support an indoor/outdoor experience for city residents and visitors alike. Main access to the site is provided by the newly developed Goodyear Way which connects to the city’s new parking structure and office building.
